  • Launch DigitalCAT™
  • Create a new file, or select an existing file (if you keep a file for Realtime Coach™ practice).
  • Go to Options, then CATnip. Change the settings to be exactly as follows:

(Though not visible above, there should be at least two spaces added after the period that follows the Q and the A, respectively.)
 
  • In the Transcript Editor, click Tools > Start CATnip Session.
 
The next time you use DigitalCAT™ with Realtime Coach™, just do the following:
 
  • Connect your writer
  • Launch DigitalCAT™
  • Click Tools > Start CATnip Session
  •  Log into Realtime Coach™, and launch an exercise
 
NOTE: It may take a few seconds for the text to show up in the Practice column of the Realtime Coach™ exercise window after you start writing (up to 30 seconds or more). To end your lesson, you will need to stroke TK-FPL on your writer. This will ensure that all the text is sent from your DigitalCAT™ software.
